A Prayer for World Peace

We pray for the power to be gentle; the strength to be forgiving; the patience to be understanding; and the endurance to accept the consequences of holding on to what we believe to be right. May we put our trust in the power of good to overcome evil and the power of love to overcome hatred. We pray for the vision to see and the faith to believe in a world emancipated from violence, a new world where fear shall no longer lead persons to commit injustice, nor selfishness make them bring suffering to others. Help us to devote our whole life and thought and energy to the task of making peace, praying always for the inspiration and the power to fulfill the destiny for which we and all humans were created. - Author Unknown God, when I am overwhelmed by what is going on around me, Please remind me that You are with me. Give me the strength to not fear evil, but instead, Allow me to remember that You overcome it. Show me Your comfort and protection, And keep me rooted and grounded in Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Dear Lord, there is so much going on in the world… So much that is upsetting and beyond my control. Please help me to cast my cares on you. Help me to turn my worry time into prayer time. Please help all who are dealing with tragedies, illness, Adversity and losses. Please put your angels about those who are in harm’s way. Prayer for Families of Victims We lift our most heartfelt prayers, O God, for those who on this night are still waiting for word of their loved ones, and for those who have already heard the worst. We pray for those who are healing from injuries to body or mind. We pray for those still unaccounted for. We pray for those who have never been in battle but who have witnessed war’s ravages; even the survivors, Lord, have become victims. And although it is but by your grace that we come here to pray, we, too, mourn our own innocence lost, O Lord. You do not delight in wickedness, O God; so enfold us with your compassion, uphold us with your love, and keep us, and all who suffer, in your sight. Grace us, O God; heal and embrace us, and lead us from this darkness into your everlasting light. Amen. We don’t know what to say or what to do in a world so wounded. So we come to you with hearts heavy for All who sit in the crossfires of violence and acts of war. O God of peace, be with the people of Ukraine. With the mothers who carry babies to subway shelters. With the fathers who hold their heads in their hands. With the children who absorb the traumas. Of violent acts of powerful men. O God of peace, we don’t know the words to pray For a warring world and all who are vulnerable in it. We don’t pretend to know the extent of the damages Or what tomorrow (or today) will bring. But we know that you are a God of peace And we can’t bomb our way to shalom. Healing From Pornography

 Healing From Pornography You may know someone who is stuck in the cycle of pornography, or you may be the one seeking help from this destructive behavior. The good news is that YOU CAN BE HEALED FROM IT! So what do you do? It is not easy to be freed from pornography, but you can do it if you love Jesus and seek His mercy to help you. As a Catholic, we know we can go to Sacramental Confession, but you need to understand that pornography addiction has taken years to envelop your life. This means, it may take months to help you rid yourself of this addiction. So you need to preserver in the healing. Since pornography is really an evil spirit which has attached itself to you, you may have many demonic spirits attached to you, tempting you, enticing you, overcoming you in this quest of healing. Don’t listen to the demons, but get rid of them as quickly as you possibly can. For our non-Catholic Christians, you may want to talk with your Pastor, ask your Pastor to pray for you during your cleansing period of ridding these demonic spirits from you. How it works, you need to hand EVERY PORN IMAGE you have ever looked at into the hand of our Savior, Jesus Christ. You can use this picture of Jesus or you can select any image of our Crucified Savior from home or at church. Wherever you are, you need to begin with covering yourself in the Blood of Jesus, His Blood which poured from His holy body which was shed on the Cross for our sins. Next, ask your Divine Savior, who loves you beyond your understanding, to help you purge all the images of porn that you have ever looked at. Those images have been placed in your conscious and subconscious mind, but our Jesus can remove them and He will, one by one. This may be the most important point, YOU MUST EARNESTLY BE SORRY FOR LOOKING AT ANY PORNOGRAPHY. Without a sincere heart, pleading for forgiveness, you cannot be healed! Repent, repent and repent more. The Healing Process 1. Go to a quiet place, where others cannot interrupt your healing process. 2. Make sure you cover yourself with the Blood of Jesus for protection. 3. Ask the Holy Spirit and Mother Mary to come and help you purge these images from your mind. 4. Close your eyes and ask our Savior Jesus to show you a porn image that needs to leave your life today! 5. When you recall that porn image, give it to Jesus, place it in His holy hand as say this little prayer, “Dear Jesus, I have sinned against you by participating in and viewing pornography, I ask you to please forgive me for sinning against you! I want to go to Heaven and so I seek your forgiveness and mercy today. Please Jesus, take this porn image from me, from my conscious and subconscious mind forever so that I will never remember this porn image ever again.” 6. Now thank Jesus for taking that porn image away once and for all. Jesus has healed you from that porn image and you should never be able to recall that porn image ever again. 7. If you have looked at hundreds of porn images, then you will need to repeat this process hundreds of times. 8. Now go to Sacramental Confession, confess your sins of pornography! Jesus forgives us and heals us when we have a deeply repentant, sorrowful heart. Repent from your heart, go to Confession and be healed!

ON THE FEAST DAY OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES Anna Marie: (While in Eucharistic Adoration, the Lord came to speak.) My Lord, I hear you calling me. My Lord, are you Father, Son or Holy Spirit? Jesus: My dear one, it is I, your Lord God and Savior, Jesus of Nazareth. Anna Marie: My sweet Jesus, may I ask you please? Will you bow down and adore your Holy Eternal Father who is the Alpha and Omega, the Creator of all life, of all that is visible and invisible? Jesus: Yes my little one, I your Divine Savior, Jesus of Nazareth, will now and will always bow down and adore my Holy Eternal Merciful Father, who is the Alpha and Omega, the Creator of all life, of all that is visible and invisible. Anna Marie: Please speak my Divine Lord, for your sinful servant is now listening. Jesus: My dear one, I have called you tonight to let you know War will soon be upon you land. It is time, now for all my Apostles to make their final arrangements prior to the Great War. It will be very difficult for them to go and purchase items at the stores after the Great War begins. All transportation will be interrupted and supplies will be stuck in warehouses without anyone to move these items from or through State lines (Possibly due to Marshal Law). This is when my children will begin to starve and loose the ability to feed themselves and their family members. Your country does not know War upon their land. Jesus: Purchase your food and other supplies quickly. Then see how I, your Divine Savior, will multiply these supplies for your families. This War will certainly be the beginning of Armagedon. Many will die, many will not be buried and many will be roaming the streets with weapons to take from others. Make certain you have secure locks for your doors and say your Holy Rosaries throughout this time of War and famine so that your food and water supplies will continue to flourish and multiply. (Say St. Joseph invisibility prayer daily.) Jesus: Prepare your homes for the THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS when there will be no light in your world. Only blessed Beeswax Candles will light to help you through the darkness. Remember, you must not leave your homes when the THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS begins. And I tell you now, DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR TO ANYONE! No one is to be allowed in your home, not even if it is your children or it sounds like your children. For truly I tell you, IT WILL BE THE DISCIPLES OF EVIL, not your children knocking at your door. This is when the demons will wonder throughout the earth. Anna Marie: Oh Jesus, this is too much. Healing from Pornography I decided to expand my discussion on porn to assist those who are entrapped by this evil addiction and to be able to get away from the deadly sin of Lust. Jesus taught me the best way to break away from this deadly sin is by what He revealed to me. This addiction is caused by demonic bondage! Meaning, demons attach to a man or woman who view any pornography. To understand how the Lord allows us to endure entrapment in our own sins, we need to review Sacred Scripture to understand how demonic spirits are involved in all things that we sin. Sacred Scriptures teaches us that whatever we sin, demons will attach to us and torment us. If you look at any pornography, then pornography demons will attach to you and it will take a great deal of work to get rid of these demonic spirits. You need to understand what the Lord reveals about ANY sins we commit, and the consequences of our committing them. THE LORD TEACHES US THE AFFECTS OF OUR SINS Wisdom 11:17-27 (Scripture taken from the Douay-Rheims Bible): 17. “That they might know that by what things a man sinneth, by the same also he is tormented. 18. For Thy almighty Hand, which made the world of matter without form, was not unable to send upon them a multitude of bears, or fierce lions. 19. Or unknown beasts of a new kind, full of rage: either breathing out a fiery vapor, or sending forth a stinking smoke, or shooting horrible sparks out of their eyes: 20. Whereof not only the hurt might be able to destroy them, but also the very sight might kill them through fear. 21. Yea and without these, they might have been slain with one blast persecuted by their own deeds and scattered by the breath of Thy power; but Thou hast ordered all things in measure, and number, and weight. 22. For great power always belonged to Thee alone: and who shall resist the strength of Thy arm? 23. For the whole world before thee is as the least rain of the balance, and as a drop of the morning dew, that falleth down upon the earth: 24. But Thou hast mercy upon all, because Thou canst do all things, and overlookest the sins of men for the sake of repentance. 25. For Thou lovest all things that are, and hatest none of the things which thou hast made: for thou didst not appoint, or make any thing hating it. 26. And how could any thing endure if Thou wouldst not? Or be preserved, if not called by Thee. 27. But thou sparest all: because they are Thine, O Lord, who lovest souls.” It is important to break down this Scripture so that you can fully understand what it means: In verse 17, we are told that whatever we sin against the Lord, whatever sins we commit, we will be tormented by demons. Demonic spirits are fallen angels and they know every Word of holy Scriptures. So they are the evil entities that torment us. Apostolate of the Green Scapular www.greenscapular.org Page 2 In verse 18, we are reminded that Almighty God’s holy Hand made the entire world, without any form but through His own Divine Will. Almighty God was able to send upon us sinners a multitude of demons referred as “bears, or fierce lions.” In verse 19: We are told that there are also “unknown beasts of a new kind”, wicked demons that are unknown to us. We are told these demons are “full of rage”, certainly they hate good Christians who are trying to serve our Lord Jesus. A description of these demons are further described: “either breathing out a fiery vapor or sending forth a stinking smoke or shooting horrible sparks out of their eyes”. In verse 20: These demons that have attached to us can and does kill us! Demons torment, they are relentless and will not give up until they take you to hell or try to take you to hell. These demons can also kill us through our own fears. If we could see all the demons attached to us because of our sins, we would go into shock and die of a heart attack. In verse 21: Scripture tries to tell us that because of our sinning against the Lord, we may have been slain or killed with one blast from our Lord, persecuted and punished by our own sinful deeds or actions, and scattered by the Breath of our Heavenly Father’s power. Yet, Scripture tells us that the Lord has ordered all things in “measure, and number, and weight”. The Lord’s mercy is so great, that He allows us to be tormented by demons according to His will. Measure: represents that the level of sin we have committed, we will be tormented. If we commit a mortal sin, then a demon of that same measure will attach to us. Since there are nine Choirs of Holy Angels and one-third of them fell from grace, there are now nine choirs of demons. These demons, like the Holy Angels, are either from the Seraphim, Cherubim, Dominions, Powers, Thrones, Virtues, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels. We know that that the Cherubim were very small as depicted on the Ark of the Covenant. But Angels and Archangels are very large. Number: represents the number of demons that can attach to us. St. Mark describes a Legion of demons in St. Mark 5:9: “And he asked him: What is thy name? And he saith to him: My name is Legion, for we are many.” (see St. Mark 5:1-16) This tells us that up to a 1,000 demons (called a Legion) can be attached us. Weight: represents the physiological weight. Since Cherubim are small, they do not weigh much. But the Angels and Archangels are very large, so they are heavier when they attach to our body. In verse 22: Scripture states about our Lord: “For great power always belonged to Thee alone: and who shall resist the strength of Thy arm?” Almighty God and Father is the Alpha and Omega! His power and authority is perfect justice and mercy. The Lord is described further in the next few versus. In verse 23: We read: “For the whole world before Thee is as the least rain of the balance, and as a drop of the morning dew, that falleth down upon the earth:” In verse 24: “But Thou hast mercy upon all, because Thou canst do all things, and overlookest the sins of Apostolate of the Green Scapular www.greenscapular.org Page 3 men for the sake of repentance. Sacramental Confession is mandatory to get rid of demonic spirits attached to us. Yet, even if we go to Confession, but are still tempted by pornography then you have not been successful in confessing ALL the pornographic images that you viewed, so not all the demons have been commanded to leave you during your Sacramental Confession. I will explain this more completely further down. In verse 25: “For Thou lovest all things that are, and hatest none of the things which thou hast made: for thou didst not appoint, or make any thing hating it.” In verse 26: “And how could any thing endure if Thou wouldst not? Or be preserved, if not called by Thee.” In verse 27: “But thou sparest all: because they are Thine, O Lord, who lovest souls.” Here we read about the love that the Lord has for us. We are His children and He is our God and He loves us. This is reason for the Lord not to destroy evil people who do wicked things. GETTING RID OF PORNOGRAPHY DEMONS FOR GOOD What Jesus has shown me is that we need to repent for each and every sin we ever committed. If you looked at 10 porn images, then you need to repent for each one. If you have looked at 100 porn images, then you MUST repent for all 100 images you looked at. Each image you look at has an assigned demonic spirit that will attach to you just because you viewed the porn image. So by looking at 100 porn images, you then have 100 demons attached to you, to your body! Step One: The best way to achieve healing from each porn demon is to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament either in the Chapel or before the Lord’s Tabernacle in the Church. Ask the Holy Spirit to unlock your conscious and unconscious mind so that you can recall each image one at a time. Step Two: Ask Jesus to show you each pornographic image that must be confessed. As soon as Jesus shows you a porn image, immediately hand it to Jesus Christ. Step Three: Ask Jesus to forgive you for looking at that porn image in the first place! To have mercy on you for your sinful behavior. Repent to the Lord and ask Him to purge that evil porn image from you once and for all. Then thank Jesus for His mercy. Step Four: Continue this process over and over again. For every single image you have looked at, you must hand it to Jesus and ask Jesus to purge it from your conscious and unconscious memory forever. Step Five: You now must go to Sacramental Confession! Confess, confess and confess how many images you looked at, how many images Jesus showed you and you asked Him to purge from your memory. If you still have not been completely set free from viewing pornographic images, then you have an aggravated demonic bondage issue. You must completely REPENT from all porn images but any actions you committed by looking at those images, such as: Masturbation, must also be repented for! Apostolate of the Green Scapular www.greenscapular.org Page 4 ** AGGRAVATED PORNOGRAPHY DEMONS ** Masturbation is a sin, in case you didn’t know that. If you have masturbated, pleasured yourself while looking at any pornographic images, then you have a case of aggravated pornography demons. You must confess this behavior during Sacramental Confession before these wicked masturbation demons will leave you. You should go through the process of handing these wicked images AND your performing masturbation while looking at these images to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament before going to Sacramental Confession. Results In Being Set Free From Porn Demons During the process of giving Jesus all the pornographic images, and truly repenting to Him for your viewing these images; you should begin feeling these demonic spirits leaving you. These demons will be commanded by Jesus Christ to depart from you! That is the result of our repentance to the Lord for sinning against Him. During this process, you can feel five or ten pounds of weight leaving from behind your back or neck area. The demons come from different fallen Choirs of Angels, they have different sizes so they weigh differently. The numbers of demons that will leave you in based upon your level of repentance and pleading to Jesus to save you and to save your marriage (for those who are married). SACRAMENTAL MARRIAGES ARE RUINED FROM PORNOGRAPHY Be assured that the demons who have attached to any one will make a man or woman impotent! These demons will destroy a marriage and make having any sexual encounter distorted with various forms of forbidden relations in the Eyes of God such as: Oral Sex (blow job) or Anal Sex. Demons will do anything to destroy the Sacramental Marriage, which results in traumatized children living a life with divorced parents.  The Baptism in the Holy Ghost, May-June 1926 I want to read to you a few verses from the first chapter of the Acts of the Apostles, verses 1 to 11. I have been perplexed this afternoon as to what the message should be. I have had distinctly three messages on my mind, but none of them has come forth. It appears God has a plan for this afternoon’s meeting, and I believe the plan for you and for me is to know more about the baptism of the Holy Ghost. And I believe that God wants us so to know the truth that we may all go away from this meeting with a clear knowledge of what God means for all His people to receive the Holy Ghost. When Jesus, our Mediator and Advocate, was so filled with the Holy Ghost, He gave commandment concerning these days we are in, and gave commandment of the time through the Holy Ghost. I can see that if we are going to accomplish anything we are going to have it because we are under the power of the Holy Ghost. During my life I have seen lots of satanic forces, spiritists, and all other “ists.” And I tell you that there is a power which is satanic, and there is a power which is the Holy Ghost. I remember after we received the Holy Ghost, and when people were speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave utterance — we don’t know the Holy Ghost any other way — the spiritists heard about it, and came to the meeting in good time to fill two rows of seats. When the power of God fell upon us, these imitators began their shaking, and moving with utterances of the satanic forces. The Spirit of the Lord was mighty upon me. I went to them and said, “Now you demons, clear out of this!” And out they went. I followed themright out in the street, and then they turned round and cursed me. It made no difference, they were out. Beloved, God would have us to know in these days that there is a fulness of God where all other powers must cease to be. And I beseech you this afternoon to hear that the baptism in the Holy Ghost is to possess us so that we are, and may be continually, so full of the Holy Ghost that utterances, and revelations, and eyesight and everything, may be so remarkably controlled by the Spirit of God that we live and move in this glorious sphere of usefulness for the glory of God. And I believe that God wants to help us to see that every child in the meeting ought to receive the Holy Ghost. Beloved, God wants us to understand that there is no difficulty when we are in the right order. And I want you to see what there is in seeking the Holy Ghost. The Purpose Of The Baptism If we go into John’s gospel we could see that Jesus predicted all that we are getting today when the Holy Ghost came. He said He should take of the things of His Word and reveal them unto us when the Holy Ghost came. He should just live out in us all the life of Jesus. And if we could only think what it really means! It is one of the ideals. Talk about graduation! My word! Come into the graduation of the Holy Ghost by the Spirit, and you will simply strip out everything they have in any college there ever was. You would leave them all behind just as I see the sun leave the mist behind in San Francisco. You would leave that which is as cold as ice, and go into the sunshine. God the Holy Ghost wants us to have such an ideal of this fulness of the Spirit that we would neither be ignorant, neither would we have mystic conceptions, but we would have a clear, unmistakable revelation of all the mind of God for these days. TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION: “The Spirit of the living God comes with such divine revelation, such unveiling about Him, such a clearness of what He was to the people, and brings within us the breath of that eternal power that makes us know we are right here this very hour to carry out His plan for now, and what God shall have for the future, for there is no limitation but rather an enforcement of character, of clearness of vision, of an openness of countenance till we behold Himin every divine light.” Glory! Oh, it is grand! Thank God for that interpretation. I beseech you, beloved, in the Name of Jesus, that you should see that you come right into all the mind of God. Jesus verily said, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” And I want you to know that “He showed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days.” He is all the time unfolding to everyone of us the power of resurrection. Remember the baptism of the Holy Ghost is resurrection. If you can touch this ideal of God with its resurrection power, you will see that nothing earthly can remain; you will see that all disease will clear out. If you get so full of the Holy Ghost, all satanic forces of fit-taking, all these lame legs, all these corn afflictions, and all these nervous, fearful things, all these kidney troubles will go. Resurrection is the word for it. Resurrection is to shake away death to breathe in you life, to let you know that you are from the dead quickened by the Spirit, made like unto Jesus. Glory to God! Oh, the word resurrection! I wish I could say it just on parallel lines with the word Jesus. They very harmoniously go together. Jesus is resurrection, and to know Jesus in this resurrection power is simply to see that you have no more to be dead but alive unto God by the Spirit. The Necessity Of The Baptism There is a necessity of being baptized in the Holy Ghost for a businessman. For any kind of business we need to know the power of the Holy Ghost, because if you are not baptized with the Holy Ghost Satan has a tremendous power to interfere with the power of your life. If you come into the baptism of the Holy Ghost there is a new plane for your business. I remember one day being in London at a meeting. About eleven o’clock they said to me, “We shall have to close down, we are not allowed to have this place any longer than eleven o’clock.” There were several under the power of the Spirit. A man rose up, looked at me, saying, “Oh, don’t leave me, please. I feel I dare not be left. I must come through. Will you go home with us?” “Yes,” I said, “I will go.” His wife was there as well. They were two hungry people just being wakened up by the power of the Spirit to know they were lacking in their life, and they needed the power of God. In about an hour’s time we arrived at their big, beautiful house in the country. It was winter time. He began stirring the fire up, and putting coal on, and said, “We will soon have a tremendous fire, so we will get warmed. Then we will have a big supper.” And I suppose the next thing would have been going to bed. “No, thank you,” I said. “I have not come here for your supper, nor for your bed. I thought you wanted me to come with you that you might receive the Holy Ghost.” “Oh,” he replied. “Will you stop with us and pray?” “I have come for nothing else.” I knew I could keep myself warm in a prayer meeting without a fire. About half-past three in the morning his wife was as full as could be, speaking in tongues. It was a lovely day. I went to the end of the table. There he was having a terrible groan. So I said, “Your wife is through.” “Oh,” he said, “this is going to be a big night for me.” Yes, I tell you, they are big nights for you whether you come through or not, if you seek with all your heart. I often say there is more done in the seeking than any other way. If we knew the Scriptures there is no such thing as seeking for the Holy Ghost, but a place where we need to know that without we meet face to face with God, and get all crooked places out of our lives, there would be no room for the Holy Ghost, for the indwelling presence of God. But when God gets a chance at us, and by the vision of the blood we see ourselves as God sees us, then we have a revelation. Without its accomplishment we are undone and helpless. At five o’clock in the morning, this man stood up and said, “I am through.” He was not baptized. “I am settled,” he continued. “God has settled me. Now I must have a few hours’ rest before I go to business at eight o’clock.” My word! That was a day at his business. In many years he never lived a day like that. He was going around about his business amongst all his men. They said, “What is up with the man? What is up with the governor? What has taken place? Oh, what a change!” The whole place was electrified. God had turned the lion into the lamb. Oh, he was like a great big lion prowling about under the old conditions, but God had touched him. The touch of omnipotence had broken down this man till right there in the business the men were broken up in his presence. Oh, I tell you, there is something in pursuit, there is something in waiting. What is it? Oh, it is this, God slays a man that he may begin on a new plane in his life. We shall have to be slain utterly if we want to know that resurrection power of Jesus. A short time afterwards when I was passing through the grounds towards this man’s house, his two sons rushed out to where I was, threw their arms round me and kissed me, saying, “You have sent us a new father.” The same night in which he went to work, he had been baptized about ten o’clock in a meeting. Oh, the power of the Holy Ghost is to create new men and new women. It is to take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and give you a heart of flesh by the Spirit. And when God gets a way like that there is a tremendous shaking amongst the dry bones, for God gets His way with the people. We must see that we are no good without God takes charge of us. But when He gets real charge of us what a plan for the future! What a wonderful open door for God! Oh, brethren, we must see this ideal by the Spirit! What shall we do? Do? You dare not do anything but go through. Submit to the power of God. If you yield other people are saved. You will die without you have a power of resurrection, a touch for others. But if you live only for God, then other people will be raised out of death, and all kinds of evil into a blessed life through the Spirit. The Baptism Is Essential Beloved, we must see that this baptism of the Spirit is greater than all. You can talk as you like, say what you like, do as you like, but until you have the Holy Ghost, you won’t know what the resurrection touch is. Resurrection is by the power of the Spirit. And remember, when I talk about resurrection I talk about one of the greatest things in the Scriptures, because resurrection is an evidence that we have woken up with a new line of truth that cannot cease to be but will always go on with a greater force of an increasing power with God. TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION: “Hallelujah! The Spirit breathes, the Spirit lifts, the Spirit renews, the Spirit quickens.” The man that is baptized in the Holy Ghost is baptized in a new order altogether. It cannot be that you shall ever be ordinary after that. You are on an extraordinary plane, you are brought into line with the mind of God. You have come into touch with ideals on every line. If you want oratory, there it is in the baptism of the Spirit. If you want the touch of quickened sense that moves your body till you know that you are all renewed, it is the Holy Ghost. And while I say so much about the Holy Ghost today, I withdraw everything that doesn’t put Jesus in the ordered place He belongs, for when I speak about the Holy Ghost it is always with reference to revelations of Jesus. The Holy Ghost is only the revealer of the mighty Christ who has all for us that we may never know any weakness but all limitations are gone. And you are now in a place where God has taken the ideal, and moved you on with His own velocity which has a speed beyond all human mind and thought. Glory to God! TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION: “Wake thou that sleepest, and allow the Lord to wake thee into righteousness. The liberty wherewith God has set thee free — God hath made thee free to enlarge others which are bound.” So the Spirit of the Lord must have His way on every line today. What will happen if we all loosen ourselves up! Sometimes I think it is necessary almost to give an address to baptized souls, because I feel just like the Corinthian Church, we may have, as it were, gifts and graces, and use them all, but sit in themand not go on beyond. I maintain that all gifts and graces are only for one thing, to make you go in for gifts and graces. Don’t miss what I say. Every touch of the divine life by the Spirit is only for one purpose, to make your life go on to a higher height than where you are. Beloved, if anybody has to rise up in the meeting to tell me how they were baptized with the Holy Ghost in order for me to know they are baptized, I say, “You have fallen from grace. You ought to have such a baptism that everybody can tell you are baptized without your telling how you were baptized. That would make a new day. That would be a sermon of itself to everybody not only in here but outside. Then people would follow you to get to know where you have come from, and where you are going. You say, “I want that, I won’t settle till I get that.” God willsurely give it to you. The Holy Ghost can only come when bodies are ready, for the Holy Ghost dwells in temples not made with hands, but in the fleshy tables of the heart. So it doesn’t matter what kind of a building you get, you cannot count on the building being a substitute for the Holy Ghost. You will all have to be temples of the Holy Ghost to have the building anything like Holy Ghost order. The Baptism And The Coming Of The Lord The Holy Ghost could not come till the apostles and those that were in the upper room, were all of one mind and heart, all with one accord with themselves and with God. Suppose I read one verse to help you, because I am on this definite principle of what it means, the fulness of the latter rain, and the taking away of the Church. James 5:7, is a beautiful verse on that line: Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth.... What is precious fruit of the earth? Is it cabbages? Is it grapes? The precious fruit of the earth is the Church, it is the Body of Christ. And God has no thought for other things. He causes the others to grow, and the glory of the flower. He looks into the beauty of it because He knows it will please us. But when speaking about the precious fruit of the earth our Lord has His mind upon you today, and He says: ...Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. James 5:7,8 So if you want the coming of the Lord you must certainly advocate every believer being filled with the Holy Ghost. The more a man is filled with the Holy Ghost, the more he will be ready to forecast and send forth this glorious truth. Some people have an idea, I don’t know how they get it... but the Holy Ghost cannot come till the church is ready. And you say, “When will the church be ready?” If the believers were in the attitude God could send the breath this afternoon to make the church ready in ten minutes, and less than that. So we can clearly say the coming of the Lord is nigh unto us but it will be more high unto us as we are ready for receiving a fuller and greater manifestation. What will be the manifestation of the coming of the Lord? If we were ready, and if the power of God was pressing that truth today we should be rushing up against one another saying, “He is coming, I know He is coming.” “He is coming!” “Yes, I know He is.” Every person roundabout would be saying, “He is coming,” and you would know He is coming. That is the only hope of the looking forward, and there is nothing but the Holy Ghost can prepare the hearts of the people to rush up and down and say, “He is coming,” and will come soon. Praise God, He will come as surely as we are in this place, He is coming! How To Receive There are things I have had to learn about the baptism. One day in England a lady wrote to ask if I would go down and help her. She said she was blind, having two blood clots behind the eye. And I sent a letter like this, not knowing who it was. I had only been in London lately and I didn’t feel I wanted to go, but I said if she was willing to go into a room with me, and shut the door, and never come out till she had perfect sight, I would come. “Oh,” she sent word, “Come!” And the moment I reached the house, they brought in this blind woman. After shaking hands this blind woman made the way to the room, opened the door, allowed me to go in, then she came in and shut the door. “Now,” she said, “we are with God.” Have you ever been there? It is a lovely place. In a hour and a half the power of God fell upon us, and rushing to the window she exclaimed, “I can see! Oh, I can see! The blood is gone, I can see!” Sitting down in a chair she asked, “Could I receive the Holy Ghost?” “Yes,” I replied, “if all is square.” “You don’t know me,” she continued, “but for ten years I have been fighting your position. These tongues I couldn’t bear but God settled it today. I want the baptism of the Holy Ghost.” After she had prayed and repented of what she had said about “tongues” she was filled with the Holy Ghost, and was speaking in tongues. When you put your hands upon people, you can tell when the Holy Ghost is in. And if you will only let go, my word! What would happen. And I wonder how many people there are today who are prepared to be baptized? Oh, you couldn’t be baptized? You have been a man too long. Do you know there is a difference between being a baby and anything else in the world. Many people have been waiting for years for the baptism, and what has been up? We are told in the Scriptures, At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealedthem unto babes. Matthew11:25 What is there up with the wise man? A wise man is too careful. And while he is in the operation of the Spirit, he wants to know what he is saying. No man can know what he is saying when the Spirit is upon him. His own mind is inactive. If you get into that near place your mind is entirely obliterated and the mind of Christ comes by the power of the Spirit, and in that condition He prays and speaks in the Spirit as the Spirit gives utterance. This is the mind and plan of God for us to receive the Holy Ghost. What is the difference between the wise and prudent man, and a baby? If you get baby-enough this afternoon we shall have at least fifty people baptized in the Holy Ghost. If you will only yield to God and let the Spirit have His way God will fill you with the Holy Ghost. At Sweden, the power of God was upon us, and in a quarter of an hour I believe more than a hundred received the Holy Ghost. May God grant it this afternoon. Beloved, it shall be so for God is with us. The natural man cannot receive the Spirit of God, but when you get into a supernatural place, then you receive the mind of God. The difference between a wise and prudent man and a baby, what is it? The baby swallows it all, and the mother has to hold the bottle or some of that will go down. The baby cannot walk. That is how God wants it to be in the Spirit. But God walks in the baby. The baby cannot talk, but God talks through the baby. The baby cannot dress himself, but God dresses it and clothes it with His righteousness. Oh, beloved, if we can only be babes today great things will take place in the line and thought of the Spirit of God. The Lord wants us all to be so in like-mindedness with Him that He puts His seal upon us. There are some in the meeting who have no doubt never been saved. Where the saints are seeking, and leaving themselves to the operation of the Spirit there are newborn children in the midst. God will save in our midst. God will use this means of blessing if we only let ourselves go. You say, What can I do? The fiddler will drop his fiddle, the drummer his drum. If there is anybody here who has anything hanging round about him it will drop off. If you get babyenough today everything else will drop off and you will be free. You will be able to run and skip in the street, and you will be happy. Does the baby ever lose its brilliancy? Does he ever lose his common sense position? Does the baby that comes in the will of God lose its reason, or its credentials on any line? No, God will increase your abilities and help you on all lines. It isn’t what I am speaking about, to be a baby. It is a baby in the Spirit. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 14:20, “...in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.” And I believe the Spirit would breathe through all these attributes of the Spirit that we may understand what the mind of the Lord is concerning us in the Holy Ghost. Oh, this blessed thought. I want to help all that are being baptized to help others. If ever you have spoken in tongues in your life, this afternoon let yourself go and God will speak through you. You must have a day you have never had before. This must be an ideal day in the Spirit, a day with the unction of the Spirit, a day with the mind of God in the Spirit.  The Pentecostal Power, November 12, 1927 Bible Reading: Acts 19:1-20 This is a wonderful reading. It has many things in it which indicate to us that there was something more marvelous about it than human power, and when I think about Pentecost I am astonished from day to day because of its mightiness, of its wonderfulness and how the glory overshadows it. I think sometimes about these things and they make me feel we have only just touched it. Truly it is so, but we must thank God that we have touched it. We must not give in because we have only touched. Whatever God has done in the past, His name is still the same. When hearts are burdened and they come face to face with the need of the day, they look into God’s Word and it brings in a propeller of power or an anointing that makes you know He has truly visited. It was a wonderful day when Jesus left the glory. I can imagine all the angels and God the Father and all heaven so wonderfully stirred that day when the angels were sent to tell that wonderful story: “Peace on earth and good will to men.” It was a glorious day when they beheld the Babe for the first time and God was looking on. What happened after that day and until He was thirty years old I suppose it would take a big book to put it all in. It was a working up to a great climax. I know that Pentecost in my life is a working up to a climax, it is not all done in a day. There are many waters and all kinds of times until we get to the real summit of everything. The power of God is here to prevail. God is with us. The mother of Jesus hid a lot of things in her heart. The time came when it was made manifest at Jordan that Jesus was the Son of God. Oh, how beautifully it was made known! It had to be made known first to one that was full of the vision of God. The vision comes to those who are full. Did it ever strike you we cannot be too full for a vision, we cannot have too much of God? The more of God, then the visions begin. When God has you in His own plan, what a change, how things operate. You wonder, you see things in a new light. And how God is being glorified as you yield from day to day, and the Spirit seems to lay hold of you and bring you on. Yes, it is pressing on, and then He gives us touches of His wonderful power, manifestations of the glory of these things and indications of great things to follow, and these days which we are living in now speak of better days. How wonderful! Where should we have been today if we had stopped short, if we had not fulfilled the vision which God gave us? I am thinking about that time when Christ sent the Spirit; and Paul did not know much about that, his heart was stirred, his eyes were dim, he was going to put the whole thing to an end in a short time, and Jesus was looking on. We can scarcely understand the whole process only as God seems to show us, when He gets us into His plan and works with us little by little. We are all amazed that we are amongst the “tongues people,” it is altogether out of order according to the natural. Some of us would have never been in this Pentecostal movement had we not been drawn, but God has a wonderful way of drawing us. Paul never intended to be among the disciples, Paul never intended to have anything to do with this Man called Jesus, but God was working. God has been working with us and has brought us to this place. It is marvelous! Oh! the vision of God, the wonderful manifestation which God has for Israel. I have one purpose in my heart, and it is surely God’s plan for me, that I want you to see that Jesus Christ is the greatest manifestation in all the world, and His power is unequaled, but there is only one way to minister it. I want you to notice that these people, after they had seen Paul working wonders by this power, began on a natural line. I see it is necessary for me if I want to do anything for God, I must get the knowledge of God, I must get the vision of God, I cannot work on my own. It must be a divine revelation of the Son of God. It must be that. I can see as clearly as anything that Paul in his mad pursuit had to be stopped in the way, and after he was stopped in the way and had the vision from heaven and that light from heaven, instantly he realized that he had been working the wrong way. And as soon as ever the power of the Holy Ghost fell upon him, he began in the way in which God wanted him to go. And it was wonderful how he had to suffer to come into the way. It is broken spirits, it is tried lives, and it is being driven into a corner as if some strange thing had happened, that is, surely the way to get to know the way of God. Paul had not any power to use the name of Jesus as he did use it, only as he had to go through the privations and the difficulties, and even when all things seemed as though shipwrecked, God stood by him and made him know that there was something behind all the time that was with him, and able to carry himthrough, and bring out that for which his heart was all the time longing. Unconsciously he seemed to be so filled with the Holy Ghost that all that was needed was just the bringing of the aprons and the handkerchiefs and sending them forth. I can imagine these people looking on and seeing him and saying, “But it is all in the name, don’t you notice that when he sends the handkerchiefs and the aprons he says, ‘In the name of the Lord Jesus I command that evil to come out’?” These people had been looking round and watching, and they thought, “It is only the name, that is all that is needed,” and so these men said, “We will do the same.” These vagabond Jews, those seven sons of Sceva, were determined to make this thing answer, and they came to the place where that man had been for years possessed with an evil power, and as they entered in they said, “We adjure thee in the name of Jesus to come out.” The demons said, “Jesus we know, and Paul we know, but who are ye?” and this evil power leaped upon them and tore their things off their backs, and they went out naked and wounded. (See Acts 19:13-17.) It was the name, only they did not understand it. Oh, that God should help us to understand the name! It is the name, oh, it is still the name. But you must understand there is the ministry of the name, there is something in the name that makes the whole world charmed. It is the Holy Spirit back of the ministry, it is the knowledge of Him, it is the ministry of the knowledge of Him, and I can understand it is only that. I want to speak about the ministry of the knowledge; it is important. God, help us to see. I amsatisfied with two things; one is this, I am satisfied it is the knowledge of the blood of Jesus Christ today, and the knowledge of His perfect holiness. I am perfectly cleansed from all sin and made holy in the knowledge of His holiness. I am satisfied today that as I know Him, and the knowledge of His power, and the Christ that is manifested, and the power that worketh in me to minister as I am ministering only in the knowledge of it, it is effective, so that it brings out the very thing which the Word of God says it will do, in the ministry of which, as I know it, it has power over all evil powers by its effectual working in that way. I minister today in the power of the knowledge of the ministry of it, and beyond that there is a certain sense that I overcome the world according to my faith in Him, and I am more than a conqueror over everything just in the knowledge that I have of Him being over everything, as crowned by the Father to bring everything into subjection. Shouting won’t do it, but there is a lubrication about it which is gloriously felt within and brings it into perfect harmony with the will of God, but it is not in the shout, and yet we cannot help but shout, but it is in the ministry of the knowledge that He is Lord over all demons, all powers of wickedness. TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION: “The Holy One which anointed Jesus is so abiding by the Spirit in the one that is clothed upon to use the name till the glory is manifested and the demons flee, they cannot stand the glory of the manifestation of the Spirit which is manifest.” So I am realizing that Paul went about clothed in the Spirit. This was wonderful, His body was full of virtue? No!! He sent forth handkerchiefs from his body and aprons from his body, and when they touched the needy, they were healed and demons were cast out. Virtue in his body? No! Virtue in Jesus, by the ministry of faith in the name of Jesus through the power of the unction of the Holy Ghost in Paul. TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION: “The liberty of the Spirit bringeth the office.” It is an office, it is a position, it is a place of rest, of faith. Sometimes the demon powers are dealt with very differently, not all the same way: but the ministry of the Spirit by which it is ministered by the power of the word “Jesus” never fails to accomplish the purpose for which the one in charge has wisdom or discernment to see, because along with the Spirit of ministry there comes the revelation of the need of the needy one that is bound. So differently the Spirit ministers the name of Jesus. I see it continually happening. I see those things answer and all the time the Lord is building up a structure of His own power by a living faith in the knowledge of the sovereignty of the name of Jesus. If I turn to John’s gospel I get the whole thing practically in a nutshell. To know Thee, O God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent, is eternal life. We must have the knowledge and power of God and the knowledge of Jesus Christ, the embodiment of God, to be clothed upon with God, God in human flesh. I see there are those who have come into line, they are possessed with the blessed Christ, and the power of the baptism which is the revelation of the Christ of God within, and it is so evidently in the person who is baptized and the Christ is so plainly abiding that the moment he is confronted with evil, instantly he is sensitive of the position of this confronting, and he is able to deal accordingly. The difference between the sons of Sceva and Paul is this: They said, “It is only using the word.” How many people only use the word, how many times people are defeated because they think it is just the word, how many people have been brokenhearted because it did not answer when they used the word? If I read into my text this afternoon this, “He that believeth shall speak in tongues, he that believeth shall cast out devils, he that believeth shall lay hands on the sick,” if I read this into my text, on the surface of it, it seems exactly easy, but you must understand this, there are volumes to be applied to the word believe. To believe is to believe in the need of the majesty of the glory of the power, which is all power, which brings all other powers into subjection. And what is belief? Sum it up in a few sentences. To believe is to have the knowledge of Him in whom you believe, it is not to believe in the word Jesus, but to believe in the nature, to believe in the vision, for all power is given unto Him, and greater is He that is within thee in the revelation of faith than he that is in the world, and so I say to you, do not be discouraged if every demon has not gone out. The very moment you have gone, do not think there is an end of it. What we have to do is to see this, that if it had only been using the name, those evil powers would have gone out in that name by the sons of Sceva. It is not that. It is the virtue of the power of the Holy Ghost, with the revelation of the deity of our Christ of glory, where all power is given unto Him, and in the knowledge of Christ, in the faith of what He is, demons must surrender, demons must go out, and I say it reverently, these bodies of ours are so constructed by God that we may be filled with that divine revelation of the Son of God till it is manifest to the devils you go to and they have to go. The Master is in, they see the Master. Jesus I know, and Paul I know. The ministry of the Master! How we need to get to know Him till within us we are full of the manifestation of the King over all demons. Brothers and sisters, my heart is full. The depths of my yearnings are for the Pentecostal people. My cry is that we will not miss the opportunity of the baptismof the Holy Ghost, that Christ may be manifested in the human till every power of evil will be subject to the Christ which is manifested in you. The devils know. Two important things are before me. To master the situation of myself. You are not going to meet devils if you cannot master yourself, because you soon find the devil bigger than yourself, and it is only when you are subdued that Christ is enthroned and the embodiment of the Spirit is so gloriously covering the human life that Jesus is glorified to the full. So first it is the losing of our self and then it is the incoming of Another; it is the glorifying of Him which is to fulfill all things and when He gets lives He can do it. When He gets lives that will so yield themselves to God, God will be delighted to allow the Christ to be so manifested in you, that it will be no difficulty for the devil to know who you are. I am satisfied that Pentecost is to reestablish God in human flesh. Do I need to say it again? The power of the Holy Ghost has to come to be enthroned in the human life so it does not matter what state we are in. Christ is manifested in the place where devils are, the place where religious devils are, the place where a false religion and unbelief are, the place where a formal religion has taken the place of holiness and righteousness. You have need to have holiness, the righteousness and Spirit of the Master, so that in every walk of life everything that is not like our Lord Jesus will have to depart and that is what is needed today. I ask you in the Holy Ghost to seek the place where He is in power. “Jesus I know, Paul I know but who are ye?” May God stamp it upon us for the devil is not afraid of you. May the Holy Ghost make us today terrors of evildoers, for the Holy Ghost came into us to judge the world of sin, of unbelief, of righteousness, and that is the purpose of the  the Holy Ghost. The devils will know us, and Jesus will know us.The devils will know us, and Jesus will know us.
